Cleveland Hosts Oklahoma

by Hillary LaClair, Senior Editor

There doesn’t appear to be much of a Thanksgiving line up in online sports betting for the NBA this season, as the Oklahoma City Thunder will face the Cleveland Cavaliers. As if there were any question, oddsmakers have placed the King Cavs as their favorite in this game at -15.5, Total 195.5.

As far as betting trends go as they relate to this game, Oklahoma has lost 12 of their last games SU, covered 2 of their last 8 games, played 7 of their last 9 games over the total, covered 5 of their last 7 games on the road, and played their last 5 road games over the total.

Cleveland has won 10 of their last 11 games SU, covered 8 of their last 10 games at home, won 10 of 10 of their last games at gome, and played 6 of their last games at home over the total.

However, in contradiction of these betting trends, of their last 25 meetings, Oklahoma has won 19 and 5 of the 7 meetings have gone under the total. Cleveland has won covered 4 of their last 5 meetings as the home team, and Oklahoma has won 9 of the last 13 meeting SU on the road. 4 of the last 5 games in Cleveland have gone under the total.

Both teams played last night, and Cleveland had an impressive 119-101 victory over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. At the same time Oklahoma had a 16 point lead over Phoenix, but lost by one point.
