BetCRIS Poker recently conducted a survey among poker players - losers and winners - asking which world leader they would most like to fleece, er, play. The winner - the Pope. Hmmm. Let’s think this through. Odds are that most card sharps will feel that the Pope, Holy Man that he is, has never gambled, thus will not be wise in the way of the cards. His closest competitors in the poll - George W. Bush and Fidel Castro (he has a history of poor sportsmanship but great cigars) seem like less sure bets. Rounding out the list: Queen Elizabeth (a possibility unless the game is strip poker) and Tony Blair.
